Sprouting Yellow Dock Seeds
These are seeds gathered fresh from the garden. They have taken 7 days to begin sprouting! They were soaked overnight first before putting into the sprout-er with chaff left on. The seeds are so small that they are hard to separate from the outer chaff, however, the chaff has provided moisture to the seeds when soaking each day in the sprout-er.
The seeds are a rich source of calcium, riboflavin and fiber while low in protein and fat and can help the body absorb Vitamin C. They can be eaten raw or cooked once they are brown.
