Have you ever grabbed for your whole garlic to prepare a meal and discovered that all the cloves are sprouting? Well I have! This time I planted a few cloves indoors while waiting for the weather to clear to plant the rest outside.
I used a garlic kitchen counter pot that wasn’t being used and filled with soil. Two cloves have been planted. The other cloves have gone into a bigger container to set until the snow melts! Planted the evening of Feb 5th, this morning, Feb 8th, here are the results of root growth in following picture.
In the following picture I have used a small rectangular glass dish for the windowsill garlic to grow in water. I look forward to using the garlic growing inside for fresh green cuttings!
